Judith undertook her Dentistry degree at the University of Bristol, before commencing her training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. She completed her Medical degree at the University of Leeds, before going on to higher specialist training in the north east of England. She was appointed as a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in 2006 at University Hospital Coventry, and she is also a Consultant at Warwick Hospital.

She is trained in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, and sees patients with oral medicine disorders, TMJ and facial pain, salivary gland disease, facial trauma, facial skin lesions and facial deformity, paediatric oral surgery. Her NHS specialist interest is the management of facial trauma and post traumatic facial deformity.

She has recently been both a clinical lead and divisional clinical director in her NHS practice, but is now concentrating on full time clinical practice and teaching. She is an educational supervisor at the University of Warwick Medical School, and trainer for the West Midlands regional rotation for maxillofacial surgery. She has a particular interest in teaching - having completed the Certificate in Medical Education at Newcastle University - and is always keen to help local practices educate their staff.

Judith is proud to maintain both her dental and medical registration, and keeps up to date in both fields. She has presented internationally on a number of maxillofacial topics, including TMJ and orbital trauma.
